Last Day of Cruise - at sea

All good things must come to an end. Don climbed the rock wall, Jacie skated on the ship (can you believe it has an ice rink), we will miss our wonderful waiters, Gusti and Komang, and Jordan and Jacie stand under the Guinness Book of World Records certificate for the largest passenger cruise ship. (Next September in 2009, the new Oasis of the Seas, will become the largest cruise ship). We loved our vacation!

Day 4 - Cozumel, Mexico

Our last port - Cozumel. The two snorklers in the middle of the picture are Don and Jacie. Here is a picture of Don and the girls on the pier in Cozumel, getting ready to get back aboard the ship.

Day 3 Grand Cayman

Here is one of our favorite Grand Cayman pictures - notice the red flag with the big U on it! How about that - University of Utah fans in the Caymans! Here is the Parr family in the ocean at 7 Mile Beach.

Second Stop - Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Our next stop was Jamaica mon, no problem! We did the funnest shore excursion, tubing down the White River. We don't have any pictures as our camera wasn't waterproof, but here is our ship in port, the Ocho Rios coastline and Jodi attempting to bust a move (with limited success).

First stop - Labadee, Haiti

Our first port was Labadee, Haiti. The cruise line has their own private beach. It was beautiful. We enjoyed our first port of call. We rented those fun "water toys" for an hour - here are the girls getting ready for fun with the ship in the background. Look at that beautiful coastline. The water was such a beautiful color. Jacie found a starfish in the ocean!

At Sea

We spent a full day at sea - here are some of the happenings. On the first day, you get to do the madatory life jacket, safety drill (didn't we all look cute). The girls climbed the rock wall on the ship, and enjoyed the ocean breeze.

Cruise Vacation

Well, the Parr fam took our first cruise vacation. All we can say is it was FANTASTIC! What a blast we had. We left on October 12 and cruised the Western Caribbean until October 19. We sailed on the current largest passenger cruise ship in the world, the Freedom of the Seas. Wow! We went with dear friends who became dearer, and our family loved being together for a solid week of fun.

Rolling in Style

Well, here it is...drumroll...our new Tahoe. We finally got it all washed up and a picture taken to introduce our new ride. Ain't it a beauty? We sure like it - even Jacie has dispensed rules for riding in the new car to the kids in our carpool.
